Two versions of the same abandoned Car

gary tompkins January 16, 2015

I started on this image in black and white and actually liked how it was coming along. The image itself I found interesting and the black and white treatment made it even more so. Right towards the end of post processing it I decided to do an extreme color version of it by really pumping up the colors and contrast. Wow, it really came alive for me.

You might like the B&W version better and that's fine with me.

There has been a running debate amongst those who have seen this car as to what it actually is. There are no defining badges or numbers left on it to give us a clue as to the year, make, or model. It is a favorite subject of interest for many and although there are those who think it should be renovated and restored I believe it is much more interesting and fun as it sites.
