Going down the outside stairs of the District Museum in Cripple Creek I looked up to my left and saw this sight. I thought it looked pretty cool and after setting up the tripod I took a series of shots. None of the color versions seemed to look very interesting but when I processed it as a black and white, did some light adjustments, and final touches in photoshop I think it turned out quite nice—for a mine head.
Sometimes a black and white image with limited light levels makes it better.
