The big buck is staring down a small forked horn who was caught trying to still one of his does. I watched the herd buck fight off smaller bucks non-stop for almost three hours.

I have had people remark, "it's too bad you didn't have a picture of the big buck looking at the camera. I did but I liked this story so much better I decided to publish this version.

The young forked horn is displaying submission-looking off into the distance as if to say, "no one here but us trees" and the old codger saying, "get off my lawn."
