Here is a close-up of the frame, if chosen, used for each of the prints in all of the collections.
No matter the size of the print the frame remains the same 1-1/4 inches profile width but the white mat is 1-1/2 inches for the small size, 2 inches for the medium size and 3 inches for the large size to retain a proper aesthetic proportion.
Smooth Matte Black wood
no visible grain
Picture sizes are: small (6X9—with frame and mat 9X12), medium (8X12—with frame and mat 14X18), and large (12X18—with frame and mat 18X24).

Let's start with
A Drive Down Shelf Road
(pictured is a medium 8X12 left, large 12X18 center, medium 8X12 right)
Shelf Road, a popular scenic route just outside of Cripple Creek, Colorado. Making it's way through rugged and beautiful gold country is about 28 miles long and will take you all the way to Canyon City. Back in the 1890's this was a popular area for gold mining and you can see evidence of that all along the drive. Before the gold rush, the Pony Express used to use this road to deliver the mail from Cripple Creek to Canyon City and if you dropped off a letter in those days in Cripple Creek it took one day to reach Canyon City. If you would like to drop off a letter today in Cripple Creek, it will take 3 days to get to Canyon City!
Not as rugged or treacherous as legend implies, it is one of the anticipated destinations for tourists and a favorite among locals.
These three images create a collage that represents just a small portion of the beauty you will find along this route but of course you can choose just one in the size you want along with any of the other prints in this collection.
Old Friends
During my stint as a stream train engineer this site, as seen from the other side, was a favorite among many passengers. My job there also gave me privileges to set up and take any pictures I wanted. I set up on several different days trying to capture just the right light and angle for this shot and finally got an image I was very happy with. I also captured the car on the right which is available in the Black and White Collection called "Old Chevy in Snow".
Winter Cometh
Pikes Peak is being swallowed by the first oncoming blizzard of Winter. Balanced nicely with the gorgeous Fall colors you can grab a blanket and hot chocolate and stare at a piece of Colorado for hours.

Pikes Peak in First Snow
The man came to the door in his pajamas to answer my knock. "Yea, go ahead," he said. I had driven for over an hour trying to find the best spot to capture this special moment when the first snow of Winter had dusted the ground while the Fall leaves were still in the trees and this man's back yard was it.
This is a favorite of many and I have been asked several times to make it available for sale. Sadly the quality of the tripod I had at the time left a lot to be desired but after almost 8 hours of reworking and re-"developing" this image I am happy to announce that this image is not only ready to be placed in the Fall Colors Collection but is also available in an extra large 24" X 36" size if desired.

Sunrise In The Valley
A herd of elk in the middle of the rut highlighted by spots of awesome color. For those who have never heard the sound of a bull elk in full bugle it will shake the ground—it's my favorite sound in the world!
